This policy explains what personal data is collected when you visit lunaswhimsyworld.com or buy a Luna’s Whimsy World printable, and how it is used.
Who is responsible
Luna’s Whimsy World is run by Edina Szlanyinka, a private individual registered for tax in Hungary (adószámos magánszemély), EU. Contact: hello@lunaswhimsyworld.com.
What data is collected
- Visiting the website: like every website, our host (Hostinger) keeps short-term server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
- Emailing us: if you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to reply.
- Buying a product: purchases happen on Payhip. Payhip collects your name, email address and payment details to process the order and deliver your download. We receive your name, email address and order details from Payhip so we can help you with your purchase. We never see or store your card details.
Why we use it (legal basis)
- To deliver the products you buy and support you afterwards (performance of a contract).
- To keep the website secure and working (legitimate interest).
- To keep sales records required by law (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. It is only shared with the services needed to run the shop: Hostinger (website hosting, EU), Payhip and its payment partners such as Stripe and PayPal (checkout and payments). Their own privacy policies also apply. Product images on our shop page are loaded from Payhip’s servers.
Cookies
This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work (for example, security and login cookies for the site administrator). We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so no cookie consent banner is needed. Payhip may set its own cookies during checkout; see Payhip’s policy. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to Payhip, Pinterest and Facebook. When you click through, those sites’ own privacy policies apply.
How long we keep data
Emails are kept only as long as needed to answer you. Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires (in Hungary, typically 8 years).
Children
Our printables are made for children, but they are sold to and bought by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and ask for a copy of it. Just email hello@lunaswhimsyworld.com. You also have the right to complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or the authority in your own EU country.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
